Job Description:
The Digital Sales Specialist will aid in supporting the sales and marketing team and the ability to gain specifications and sales growth initiatives. Responsibilities include:
Leverage existing technologies but not limited to ZoomInfo, Chain Store Guide, Construct Connect, internet research to data mine projects, details, and contacts. Ability to qualify leads that are generated through digital marketing efforts and capture in Salesforce. Follow up on requests that opt in when ordering samples through the website. -Gather necessary project details - -If tied to a project, follow up with the Specification Sales Representative-If not tied to a project answer general questions or send them to a local distributor.-Log qualified leads into Salesforce. Work with Marketing to create AIA Continuing Education Units, or CEU's, that will showcase Marlite's innovative products to Architects and Interior Designers. Keep up to date on AIA continuing education policies and standards. Manage all pre/post event administrative tasks for AIA. Become a subject matter expert in Sustainability in Building Design with focus on Environmental Product Declarations (EPD's), and Health Product Declarations (HPD's), and LEED and how it relates to Marlite's portfolio of products. - Research and educate others within Marlite.- Fill out and complete sustainability documentation requested by architects and designers.This role has the potential to call on small Slatwall customers and vet potential opportunities - subject to experience level.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Communications / Business / Public Relations / Interior Design or Associates Degree and co-measurable industry experience Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator Understanding of marketing and lead generation Must be detailed oriented and organized with the ability to focus on priority projects and tasks Experience in a business environment with customer -facing/interaction experiences on the phone, email, and virtual platforms (Microsoft Teams or Zoom, etc.) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications An appreciation and basic understanding of interior design Experience in the Sustainability/Green Industry is a plus Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The position is in an office and at times will have exposure to the plant environment (operating machinery, temperature, noise, odors, dust, drafts, and chemicals used in manufacturing of products).Salary &
