Physical Requirement: Stand, walk, use hands to finger/ handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Hear typical speaking volume. Close/distance/peripheral vision, proper depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and see color
The Process Engineer functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develop processes to ensure quality, safety and cost and efficiency requirements are met for Meteor Sealing Systems (a TG company)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot problems with production and takes corrective action
Research the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment
Implement new products and raw materials and develop existing products and raw materials for high performance of processes
Develop and troubleshoot new equipment during initial start-up launch
Support production with problem solving and support maintenance when machinery problems occur
Create, edit and maintain necessary documentation for process improvements
Assess the availability of raw materials and their safety and environmental impacts
Monitor and improve scrap levels, efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel
Train operators on the proper methods to produce quality products
Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is critical to success
Qualifications and Competencies
High school diploma is required
Bachelor degree mechanical engineering or related field is required
AutoCAD experience is required
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2007 or newer is required
Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are required
Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required
Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
